Getting Started
Velappity consists of a desktop and mobile app. On desktop, office users manage work through assigning jobs to mobile users (inspectors). Jobs are based on custom inspection forms which are created in Velappity’s forms designer. Inspections are scheduled at client sites. Compliance jobs can also be created in Velappity. Add details of your clients’ assets and set the monitoring parameters.
Velappity has a comprehensive help site with information on all parts of Velappity and how they are set up. We also have videos available on the website, help site and our YouTube page that walkthrough and explain different parts of Velappity.
Velappity is a paperless solution that can reduce your reporting by 50%. Reports are generated automatically following the completion of inspections. You can choose to review these reports or have them sent instantly to clients. The information from inspections fills out these reports for seamless reporting. You can choose to create custom reports so the reports reflect your business – structured and designed as you want and containing the information that you require.
Subscription to Velappity is per licence. This means that you choose how many users you have, and the price reflects this. The number of clients and sites that you add and the jobs you undertake is up to you (Please see pricing page for tier options, pricing and storage details).

Yes, there is a Velappity free trial. Please click here to sign up.
From the left-hand menu, select ‘Settings’ then ‘Subscription’. From the ‘Subscription’ page, select the ‘Modify Your Velappity Subscription’ and select a plan. Stripe will then open. From there you can edit the number of licences in your subscription via the quantity option on the left-hand side of the screen.
The Velappity help site has a wealth of information regarding how to set up and use Velappity.

Jobs can be completed on mobile devices while offline. The app must first be synced while online, then once the job is completed it will need synced again once back online. This allows for jobs to be completed on sites where an internet connection is not available. Velappity on desktop cannot be used while offline.
Features & Functionality
Inspections, assets, reporting and billing are the key features of Velappity. Create risk, legionella, fire safety or many more types of inspection forms, and monitor assets for compliance. Generate reports automatically upon job completion, and create billing documents to be set directly to clients from Velappity.

There is a free version of Velappity available. This does not contain the inspection forms and compliance functionality. Instead, it is limited to the billing features. Please see our pricing page for more information.
There is a free trial of Velappity available so that you can try out the functionality before subscribing.
Unless otherwise stated by us or required by law. All payment obligations are non-cancellable, and all amounts paid are non-refundable. Subscription to Velappity can be cancelled at any time to avoid the next payment being taken. Access will end after the last paid for period has ended.
To cancel your subscription to Velappity, go to ‘Settings’ in the left-hand menu, then ‘Subscription’. From there you will be able to cancel your subscription.
Security & Privacy
Your data is protected using multiple layers of security, both at the infrastructure and application level. We host our application on Microsoft Azure, which follows strict global security and compliance standards. All data is encrypted both when it’s stored and when it’s being transferred. Access is tightly controlled, and only authorized team members can view sensitive information. We also monitor our systems continuously for threats and take regular backups to ensure your data is safe, even in the event of an emergency.

The maintenance of Velappity, fixing bugs and providing necessary updates are included in all subscriptions.
Velappity has daily database backups with a 35-day retention period.
